Buffalo News - 4/15/2019

April 15-- Apr. 15--The National Alliance on Mental Illness in Buffalo & Erie County will offer a new slate of 12-week family-to-family classes in the coming weeks.

These classes help families more effectively advocate for a loved one challenged by mental illness. They cover a wide range of topics, including diagnosis and medications, legal and health system concerns, how to support your loved one for the best possible outcomes, and wellness and stress management for caregivers.

Classes are free, space is limited and preregistration is required by calling NAMI at 226-6264 or emailing namibuffalony@gmail.com.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Snyder will host classes starting June 3 to run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. for 12 straight Mondays.
